All cargo is precious to someone, but getting pharmaceuticals and therapeutics to those who need them can be the difference between life and death. On Episode 43 of InTek Freight & Logistics: The Podcast, we welcome Joel Wayment, VP/GM at Cardinal Health Third Party Logistics and Packaging Solutions, to discuss the logistics of moving this vital freight across the cold chain.
Joel talks about the challenges of temperature control, the tracking technology that offers granular data on where these medical loads are every step of the way and the procedures Cardinal has to help stem cargo loss from theft or other issues.
